everyday is a “don’t break the chain” habit tracker made in Barcelona by Joan Boixadós (Everyday Growth S.L.). All your habits sit on one board, and the more days you chain, the prettier it gets. It’s rated 4.7 from more than 4,500 US App Store ratings and 4.4 from about 4,500 Google Play reviews, and it also runs on the web. Here’s what’s free, what Premium adds, and what else to look at.
We read every fact below from everyday’s website (its pricing page and FAQ), its App Store and Google Play listings on October 25, 2026. One of the alternatives at the end is ours, Habit Rewards; we’ve tried to describe the others fairly.

What everyday does well
- One board for everything. Every habit and its chain of days in a single view, so you see at a glance which ones are going well.
- Everywhere you are: the web, iPhone, iPad, Android and browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox.
- Flexible days: skip a day, take a break from a habit, or use “no weekends” for weekday-only habits.
- Reminders by email and push notification, a yearly view of your progress, and unlimited data storage, all in the free version.
What’s free, and what Premium adds
everyday’s pricing page lays it out:
| Free | Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| Habits | Up to 3 | Unlimited |
| Devices | Web, iOS, Android, browser extensions | Same, synced between them |
| Reminders, skips, breaks, no-weekends | Yes | Yes |
| Yearly visualization | Yes | Yes |
| Dark mode on mobile, archive, habit insights | No | Yes |
| Full habit history | No | Yes |
Premium is $29.99 a year (it works out at $2.50 a month) or $7.49 a month, and there’s a $99 lifetime plan, which everyday says is issued in a limited number. The US App Store also lists a $49.99 lifetime purchase, so check the upgrade screen for what’s on offer. One thing to notice: the free version runs on every device, but syncing between them is Premium.
Is everyday worth it?
Yes, if you want a calm, visual chain for a few habits and you use a computer as much as your phone: the web app and browser extensions are rarer than you’d think among habit trackers.
Look elsewhere if:
- you want more than three habits free;
- you want your phone and laptop in sync without paying;
- you want a reward, not only an unbroken chain.
everyday alternatives, by what you’re missing
| If you want… | Try |
|---|---|
| A real reward for each habit, on iPhone and Android | Habit Rewards (ours) |
| Four habits free, as a year-long grid | HabitKit |
| Everything free, as a role-playing game, on the web too | Habitica |
| Free and open source on Android | Loop Habit Tracker |
Habit Rewards (ours) pays you for your habits. Every habit earns coins by how hard it is (1, 4, 8 or 16), and you write your own reward list, like a coffee out, a new book or a lazy Sunday, each with a coin price. Check off a habit and the coins land straight away; claim a reward once your balance covers it. A Skip costs 10 coins and keeps your streak alive on a day off. It’s on iPhone and Android, free for three habits and three rewards, with Pro by subscription or a lifetime purchase. It has no web app; everyday does.
HabitKit shows each habit as a year-long grid of tiles. It’s on iPhone and Android, free for up to four habits, with Pro by subscription or a one-time purchase (HabitKit alternatives).
Habitica turns your habits, dailies and to-dos into a role-playing game, free on iPhone, Android and the web (apps like Habitica).
Loop Habit Tracker is free and open source on Android, with no ads and no account. It isn’t on iPhone (what to use there instead).
