Habitify is one of the most polished habit trackers around: a clean daily list, good reminders and detailed stats, on almost every device you own. This review covers what it does well, where it falls short, and what it costs. (We make a different habit tracker, Habit Rewards; we say where it differs at the end.)
Table of Contents
What Habitify does
- A daily habit list you can group by time of day and by area of life.
- Reminders beyond a set time: habit stacking (a reminder after another habit) and location-based reminders.
- Off mode for breaks, so a holiday or a sick week doesn't wreck your record.
- Stats: streaks, completion rates and trends per habit, plus notes on a check-in.
- Integrations: Apple Health (steps, exercise and the like fill in automatically), Apple and Google calendars, and an API with Zapier and IFTTT for automating check-ins.
Pros and cons
Habitify is rated 4.6 from about 7,100 ratings on the US App Store (October 2026).
Pros
- Works everywhere and keeps your habits in sync between devices.
- Reminders that go beyond a set time: habit stacking and location.
- Apple Health and automation integrations save a lot of manual check-ins.
- Off mode is a kind way to handle breaks.
Cons
- The free plan stops at three habits.
- Motivation comes from streaks and charts. If those stop working for you, there's nothing else to pull you back in.
- Premium bought inside the app costs noticeably more than on Habitify's website (see below).
Habitify pricing
Habitify is free for three habits. Premium unlocks unlimited habits. On Habitify's own pricing page it's $2.49 a month billed annually, or $59.99 once for lifetime access. Inside the iPhone app, the US prices were higher when we checked in October 2026: $8.99 a month, $49.99 a year, or $119.99 for lifetime. Prices differ by country and change with promotions, so check both before you pay.
Where you can use it
iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac from the App Store, Android from Google Play, and a web app at habitify.me.
Who should look elsewhere
If you want a tidy tracker with great reminders, Habitify is a strong pick. Look elsewhere if streaks and charts have stopped motivating you. That's the gap we built Habit Rewards for: every habit pays coins (1, 4, 8 or 16, by how hard it is), and you spend them on rewards you write and price yourself, like a coffee out or an evening off. One-off tasks pay coins too. It's on iPhone and Android, free for three habits.
